Angel Locsín (born Angélica Locsín Colmenares on April 23, 1985 in Bulacan, Philippines) is a Filipina television and film actress who was introduced in the youth-oriented program of GMA Network entitled Click. Locsin rose to prominence after being casted as one of the lead stars in the fantasy-themed television series Mulawin in 2004. Soon after she headlined as the titular superheroine Darna in the TV adaptation of the popular Mars Ravelo comics hit. Locsin top-billed in several chartbusting films and is widely famous as the love pair of Richard Gutierrez and Dennis Trillo.
LIFE & CAREER:
Locsín grew up in Bulacan and was the second child in a brood of three. Her parents were separated when she was fourteen and she has since lived with her father. Locsin’s career in show business began after she was spotted by a talent scout when she cut class with a friend while shopping at SM Mall. She auditioned for several commercials and soon after she landed a contract with GMA Network.
Locsín first appeared in Click, a teen-oriented program on the GMA Network, as the tomboyish Charley (short for Charlotte) where she was paired with (Railey Valeroso).However, she only became widely known when she first appeared on the cover of FHM Philippines. The same magazine frequently lists her as one the “100 Sexiest Women in the World”, as well as sexiest Filipina, ranking No. 2 behind Hollywood actress Angelina Jolie. She has also been known the current sex symbol of the Philippines.
After appearing in Click, Locsin gained further exposure as she was cast in television shows like Ang Iibigin Ay Ikaw Pa Rin, All Together Now and Love to Love
In 2004, Locsin received what is considered her biggest break yet. She starred as one of the lead stars in the telefantasya Mulawin. After her role as the half-human, half-avian Alwina where got to be paired with Aguiluz (Richard Gutierrez),she auditioned for the title role of the classic Filipina superhero in Darna television series. She won the part hands down, and was chosen to don the iconic red suit and crest among numerous actresses who tried out. Locsin reunited with former love team Dennis Trillo as they top-bill in GMA’s newest fantasy-themed series, Majika.
Aside from television, Locsín also starred in films. Among her big screen credits are Kuya, Mano Po 2, Singles, Sigaw and in 2005 the box-office hit Let The Love Begin, alongside perennial partner Richard Gutierrez. Her team-up with Gutierrez is considered by some as one of the best pairings in the country. She reprised her role as Alwina in the movie adaptation of Mulawin.
Locsin also had her fair share of controversy after appearing in one of the Axe TV ads, many feminist groups, as well as former Senator Nikki Coseteng, complained about the offensive gestures in the advertisement. In the television commercial, Angel is teasing a man by showing off money and her body but the man approaches Angel and takes only her money. Because of the complaints, Unilever Philippines, the maker of Axe, slowly pulled out the commercial.
Locsin, on 21 April 2006, spent a pre-21st birthday get-together with close friends and relatives in Aurora Ville Resort. After a short program hosted by Joel Almagro, Locsin thanked the organizers for a simple but sincere effort to make her day complete. This, after spending the whole day with kids with various medical conditions and giving free medical aid.

Rosie Huntington-Whiteley was born on April 18th 1987 at Freedom Fields hospital in Plymouth. Rosie was still studying at Tavistock college when she was discovered, turning up for work experience as a booker at model agency Profile, based in London’s West End. CAREER: Victoria’s Secret and modelling (2006–present)
Since 2006, Huntington-Whiteley has modelled for American lingerie and beauty products brand Victoria’s Secret. The model made her Victoria’s Secret debut at the brand’s 2006 show in Los Angeles.
She remained unknown in the fashion industry up until 2008, when she was cast by chief creative director Christopher Bailey, replacing Agyness Deyn for Burberry’s fall/winter campaign with actor Sam Riley. She got her first British Vogue cover, for the November 2008 issue, which saw her pictured alongside Eden Clark and Jourdan Dunn in a feature celebrating British models. Harper’s Bazaar’s annual “Best Dressed List” placed her 6th on their list for the year 2008. The following year, she was featured as the face of Karen Millen’s spring/summer 2009 advertising campaign. Huntington-Whiteley received an Elle Style Award for 2009′s “Model of the Year”. She starred in a short film for Agent Provocateur playing a woman whose boyfriend forgets Valentine’s Day. For fall/winter 2009, she modelled campaigns for Godiva and Miss Sixty. In late 2009, Huntington-Whiteley officially became a Victoria’s Secret Angel, modelling for the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show in New York city.
In 2010, she posed nude for the infamous Pirelli Calendar, which was photographed by Terry Richardson. Huntington-Whiteley hit the runway for designers Prada in Milan and Giles Deacon in Paris. For SS10 her advertising campaigns included Monsoon’s first underwear line, Thomas Wylde, Full Circle, and VS Online. In March, she collaborated with VOGUE.COM to share her outfit choices daily for the Today I’m Wearing feature. She appeared on the covers of the May 2010 issues of Harper’s Bazaar Russia and GQ UK. In March 2011, she landed her first solo British Vogue cover. In May, she was voted No. 1 in Maxim Magazine’s “Hot 100″ list. She was also voted No.1 in FHM’s World’s Sexiest Woman 2011 poll. She appeared on the covers of the UK’s July issues of Elle and GQ.
CAREER: Acting (2011–present)
In May 2010, it was announced that Huntington-Whiteley would become the new female lead in Transformers: Dark of the Moon, released June 29 2011, after Megan Fox pulled out just before filming began. She had previously worked with the film’s director, Michael Bay, on a Victoria’s Secret commercial. MTV Networks’ NextMovie.com named her one of the ‘Breakout Stars to Watch for in 2011′. Prior to the film’s release, she won the “Female Star of Tomorrow” award at the 2011 CinemaCon Awards.
LIFE:
Huntington-Whiteley dated Tyrone Wood, the youngest son of musician Ronnie Wood, from August 2007 until October 2009. When the pair separated, she began a brief relationship with French actor Olivier Martinez that ended in early 2010. From April 2010, she has been in a relationship with English actor Jason Statham.
Huntington-Whiteley has apartments in New York and London’s Maida Vale. As for her musical taste, she listens to The Rolling Stones, The Beatles, Fleetwood Mac and Gregory Isaacs.

Kelly Brook ( full name Kelly Ann Parsons) was born on November 23, 1979. She is an English model, television presenter, and movie & TV actress. Padma Parvati Lakshmi, Lady Rushdie (born September 1, 1970 in Chennai, India) is an Indian-American cookbook author, actress, and model who has described herself as the first well-known model from India. She has been the host of the reality television program Top Chef since season two and is an ambassador for the United Nations Development Fund for Women.

Padma Lakshmi made a 2002 guest appearance as alien princess Kaitaama in Precious Cargo, the 37th episode of the popular science fiction TV series Star Trek: Enterprise. She was also hostess of Domenica In, Italy’s top-rated television show. She portrayed Sean Bean’s nemesis in the 2004 -2005 iTV TV series Sharpe’s Challenge. On April 17, 2004 she got married to Salman Rushdie, a novelist. In 2006 Lakshmi appeared in ABC’s TV series The Ten Commandments with Dougray Scott, Naveen Andrews, and Omar Sharif. Padma took over as hostess of the popular TV cooking competition series Top Chef in 2006 during its second season and continues in 2007 in its third season.
Her first cookbook Easy Exotic was awarded Best First Book at the 1999 World Cookbook Awards at Versailles. She was host of the Food Network series, Padma’s Passport, which is part of the larger series Melting Pot. She has also been a guest host on parts of the British culinary tourism show Planet Food, hosting the segments on India and Spain. Her second cookbook Tangy, Tart, Hot and Sweet was released October 2, 2007. The Food Network series, ‘Padma’s Passport’ and ‘Domenica In’ is hosted by her. Bar Refaeli was born on June 4, 1985, in a rural region of Israel. She was raised on a horse ranch, but her countryside origins never inhibited her imagination. Megan Fox is born on May 16, 1986 in Rockwood, Tennessee. She is a slender, olive-skinned actress whose elegant beauty is somewhat offset by a collection of vivid tattoos (including a portrait of Marilyn Monroe on her right forearm and the King Lear quote “We all laugh at gilded butterflies” on her right shoulder blade), Megan Fox knew she wanted to be an actress from age three, and never once considered another line of work. A native of Memphis, TN, Fox began taking dance lessons when she was five years old and continued perfecting her graceful movements even after her family relocated to Florida five years later. At 13, the aspiring starlet enrolled in modeling and acting classes. It didn’t take long for all of Fox’s hard work to pay off, with a role in the 2001 Olsen twins comedy Holiday in the Sun marking the ambitious actress’ official screen debut.
Over the course of the next few years, Fox became a frequent fixture on television thanks to roles on What I Like About You, Two and a Half Men, and Hope & Faith. In 2004, Fox would torment a fledgling Lindsay Lohan in Confessions of a Teenage Drama Queen, though it was Fox’s performance as a human caught in the middle of an epic robot battle that would truly prove her calling card to Hollywood. Cast as the love interest of Shia LaBeouf in Michael Bay’s 2007 blockbuster Transformers, Fox turned more than a few heads while fighting for the future of the human race. In 2008, Fox could be spotted opposite Kirsten Dunst, Simon Pegg, Jeff Bridges, and Gillian Anderson in the Robert B Weide directed comedy “How to Lose Friends and Alienate People”.
Since adulthood she’s been a favorite of cheesecake magazines, and the success of Transformers cemented her status as a pin-up girl of the tomboy variety. FHM magazine named her the sexiest woman in the world in its 2008 poll. She also starred as a killer cheerleader in the 2009 comic horror film Jennifer’s Body. After calling off their first engagement, Fox and longtime beau Brian Austin Green, 36, get engaged a second time and make it official while vacationing on the big island of Hawaii in June. “Yes they are married,” a rep for the 24-year-old actress confirms to PEOPLE.

Marilyn Monroe, whose name was Norma Jean Baker in childhood, was born to Gladys Mortenson, a film technician, whose husband, Edward Mortenson, deserted the family. Norma Jean’s natural father may have actually been another studio employee, C. Stanley Gifford. Gladys’ mental illness surfaced shortly after her daughter’s birth, and she was institutionalized much of Norma Jean’s growing years. Norma Jean was placed in a series of twelve foster homes, and once in an orphanage. She attended Van Nuys High School in Los Angeles, California.
At sixteen, Norma Jean escaped the foster system by marrying 20-year-old James Dougherty. A year later, in 1943, he joined the U.S. Merchant Marine. Norma Jean took a job in an airline plant, part of the World War II factory effort, and worked first as a parachute inspector, then as a paint sprayer. When the government came through to take promotional photographs of the women working in the plant, the brunette Norma Jean learned that she photographed well, took a modeling course, and began working part-time as a photographer’s model.
Success as a photographer’s model led her to her dream of becoming an actress. In 1946, she divorced Dougherty and bleached her hair to become a blond. She signed a one-year, $125/month contract with Twentieth Century-Fox on August 26, 1946. Ben Lyon, casting director, suggested that she take the name Marilyn, and she added her grandmother’s last name, Monroe.
Marilyn Monroe played one bit part that year, all of which ended up on the cutting room floor. The next year, she signed another one-year contract, this time with Columbia. The results weren’t any better. In 1950, Marilyn Monroe posed for full-length nude shots, which the photographer Tom Kelley sold for a calendar. That same year, she appeared in a bit part in The Asphalt Jungle, and though her name wasn’t even mentioned in the credits, her appearance generated a huge amount of fan mail. Her reputation as a blond bombshell had begun to be established.
So Twentieth Century-Fox signed Marilyn Monroe to a new contract — this time, for seven years. She appeared in All About Eve. In 1946, she had her first starring role, in Niagara. In Gentlemen Prefer Blondes she sang, and for the first time, she had her own dressing room. In January, 1954, Marilyn Monroe married the famous baseball player, Joe Di Maggio. The marriage was short-lived; they divorced in October. For the 1955 movie The Seven Year Itch, Marilyn Monroe appeared in the famous photographic stunt, in a white halter dress, with her skirt blown up by a draft from a sidewalk grate, leaning down to catch her dress so that her cleavage showed. The photograph was used to advertise the film, and has become one of the iconic images of Marilyn Monroe.
But after filming The Seven Year Itch, in which she plays a prototypical “dumb blond,” Marilyn Monroe decided to work more seriously on her acting skills, to the skepticism of many critics. She broke her movie contract, and moved to New York to study at the Actors Studio with Lee Strasberg for a year. In 1955, she founded her own company with Milton Greene, Marilyn Monroe Productions, and signed a new contract with Twentieth Century-Fox. She made the 1956 movie Bus Stop which wowed the critics, but she’d begun to lose herself to self-doubt, depression, drugs, and alcohol. Marilyn Monroe, whose mother and maternal grandparents had all struggled with mental illness and institutionalization, began taking sleeping pills for her insomnia. She regularly consulted psychiatrists. She drank heavily, and began a habit of arriving late to work, and sometimes not being able to work at all.
She married Arthur Miller, the playwright, shortly after Bus Stop was released, and for the marriage converted to Judaism. She lived quietly for two years with her new husband. During that time, Miller was fighting his conviction for contempt-of-Congress for refusing to answer two questions before the House Un-American Activities Committee (HUAC). The marriage, and several miscarriages, added to her self-doubt and depression, and to her use of drugs and alcohol. Marilyn Monroe’s next movie, The Prince and the Showgirl, brought mixed reviews. That was followed by Let’s Make Love, and an unhappy romantic liaison with co-star Yves Montand.
The Misfits was written for Marilyn Monroe by her husband, Arthur Miller. She performed well in the final product, though during its filming, she was often under the influence of alcohol and pills, and she was notoriously late to the set. Marilyn was affected by the death, two months after the film was completed, by co-star Clark Gable. In early 1961, Marilyn Monroe and Arthur Miller divorced. During this period, she was also bothered by many rumors of affairs, including with the President, John F. Kennedy, and his brother, Robert F. Kennedy. Filming her next project, ironically titled Something’s Got to Give, Marilyn’s lateness and addictions led to her dismissal after a month. She was briefly committed to a mental hospital. She was approved to return to the film, but never resumed filming.
Two months later, in her home in Los Angeles, Marilyn Monroe was found by her housekeeper, dead, with an empty bottle of sleeping pills next to her body. The coroner found the death was caused by an overdose of barbiturates, and pronounced it a possible suicide. No evidence of foul play was presented to the coroner. Marilyn Monroe’s funeral was planned by Joe Di Maggio; Lee Strasburg delivered the eulogy.

Madonna was born on 16 August 1958 in Michigan. Her full name was Madonna Louise Veronica Ciccone. Madonna married Guy Ritchie, having divorced Sean Penn. Up until recently Madonna ran the record company Maverick, which (after a dispute) she sold to Warner Music. Madonna has recently written several children’s stories. Pundits have frequently referred to her successful branding and dubbed her a chameleon. Some compliment her for this, and others criticise her. Madonna has two children: Lourdes, fathered by personal trainer Carlos Leon, and Rocco with Guy Ritchie. Madonna can nowadays also be referred to as Esther.
As Madonna puts it: “I don’t go by the name of Esther, but yes, that is my Hebrew name. I chose it.” In an interview with ABC’s 20/20 Madonna said: “I was named after my mother. My mother died when she was very young. I wanted to attach myself to another name. So I read about all the women in the old testament and I love the story of Queen Esther.” Madonna came 8th in the Forbes list of the most powerful celebrities 2005. In February 2008, Filth and Wisdom, which was the first film directed by Madonna, was released. Meanwhile Madonna’s music continued to prove popular. Kesha Rose Sebert (born March 1, 1987), known by the stylized stage name/mononym Ke$ha, is an American singer–songwriter. Although she began her music career in 2006, her breakthrough only came in early 2009 after appearing on Flo Rida’s number one single, “Right Round.” Sebert’s debut single, “TiK ToK,” was later released in October, preceding the release of her debut album, Animal, in 2010.
Sebert was born in San Fernando Valley of Los Angeles to a single parent. Her mother, Pebe Sebert, also a singer-songwriter, was struggling to get by and support Kesha and her older brother at the time, she would often look after then infant Kesha onstage while performing. Pebe moved the family to Nashville, Tennessee in 1991 after securing a publishing deal, and Kesha spent the rest of her early years attending a music school in the neighboring countryside. Pebe often brought Kesha along to recording studios and encouraged her to sing, Kesha was exposed to the music of many country music artists while learning to write songs. The Sebert family was featured in an episode of The Simple Life, as the host family, which led to an incident later where Sebert vomited in Paris Hilton’s closet. At the age of seventeen she dropped out of Brentwood High School in Nashville to return to Los Angeles and pursue a music career.
She decided that she wanted Prince to produce her music, so she found and snuck into his Beverly Hills home. Once she was discovered, she was promptly thrown out, but not before she dropped off her demo, which was wrapped in a purple bow, with Prince himself. Sebert survived on low income and few gigs while pursuing her career at first, moonlighting as a waitress to make ends meet while furthering her music career in studios with different producers. It was then that she met Dr. Luke who had come across her demos and was so impressed that he contacted her with Max Martin and began a working relationship with her immediately.
Between 2006 and 2009, Sebert’s music appeared in a variety of media, her song “Former Overexposed Blonde” appeared in Degrassi: The Next Generation, while “Backstabber” and “Chain Reaction” were used in The Hills. During this time, she also co-wrote The Veronicas’ single, “This Love”, sang background vocals for Britney Spears’ song “Lace and Leather” and appeared in the video for Katy Perry’s single, “I Kissed a Girl” Her appearance in the video arose due to her being friends with Perry, they met frequently as aspiring pop singers in Los Angeles and shared many musical collaborators. Sebert currently lives in a shared mansion in Laurel Canyon.
She gained exposure in the mainstream media after being featured on Flo Rida’s single, “Right Round”. The collaboration came about when Flo Rida decided that the song needed a female voice, Sebert was then roped in for the part after being suggested by Dr. Luke, who was producing the song. Flo Rida liked the end result so much that he invited her to guest on another song, “Touch Me”, for his album. She turned down an offer to appear in the video for “Right Round”, because she wanted to strike out on her own. Soon after, it was announced that she had signed with RCA Records through Dr. Luke and was working on her debut album, which has now been completed and is due to be released in early 2010. Her first single, “TiK ToK”, was officially serviced to US radio on October 5, 2009. It features an uncredited cameo appearance by Diddy who is the inspiration for the song. In an interview with MTV Sweden for MTV Push, Sebert revealed that her debut album would be called Animal.
On March 27, 2009, she appeared onstage alongside 3OH!3 at one of their concerts at Avalon Hollywood to perform their duet, “My First Kiss”. She also performed at that year’s Lollapalooza as part of the BMI Stage. Sebert’s musical credits in 2009 include work for Teen Cribs, she had previously done background cues for My Super Sweet 16 as well, co-writing the title song for Miley Cyrus’ The Time of Our Lives EP and featured appearances on Pitbull and Taio Cruz’s albums. She also revealed in an interview with DigitalSpy that she had written a song for Rihanna. Sebert has also been a supporting act of Calvin Harris on tour in the UK and has performed with Mickey Avalon on multiple tour dates.
